Coaching beyond the mainstream
Every individual, every team, is unique. What unlocks potential in some will leave others in self-doubt. And that is why every coaching session I offer is uniquely tailored to the client in question.
I believe we are capable of changing. Morever, I’m convinced that we don’t have to “do” anything more for the change to happen. Instead, we need to understand what is holding us back from change.
A lot of coaching is focused on peoples’ optimization.
I accompany people.
Experience
My 20 years of professional experience span finance, IT, business launches, academia, and public administration.
I've been involved in startup development and management, coaching new and agile work techniques, group moderation, projects focused on sustainability and climate protection, work psychology research, strategy development, and branch management.
Combined with my doctorate from the ETH Zurich and ongoing training, these experiences enable me to comprehensively support teams and individuals in overcoming challenges and realizing their potential.
I bring my own professional and academic background into my "life" and "business" coaching in an impact-oriented way.
For over fifteen years I have complemented my professional life by practicing mindfulness. It helps me cultivate serenity, presence, and inner space amongst the over-stimulation of the modern everyday.
As a father of two children, I am grateful to be part of a dynamic family. I find my balance in nature, on my mountain bike, and playing billiards.

Voices to me
By mirroring what has been shared, sometimes uncovering emotions hidden even to me, and asking fitting, valuable questions, Patrick prompts me to reflect. Our previous sessions have helped me move away from societal expectations towards my own desires.

For almost two years, I have had the pleasure of working closely with Patrick on various topics and projects. At SINN Power, he provided invaluable support regarding organizational and team development. For instance, he adapted proven agile methodologies like OKRs to our culture. In addition, he supported us regarding our business strategy as well as networking in the Swiss energy and research sector.

I particularly appreciate Patrick's ability to connect theory and practice. His recommendations were not only practical: through his attentive end empathetic approach, was also able to uncover hidden emotional layers. This helped me gain new perspectives and deepen my personal growth process.
- A. Ahrens
I very much enjoyed working with Patrick. His knowledge of disruptive sustainability technologies fueled critical and innovative thinking in our discussions. During a technology and business model assessment, he posed constructive and challenging questions. At the same time, he quickly understood which key challenges specific markets and their respective segments pose.
